The NRTC would like to welcome Jamie Boydstun as a Research Scientist I! Jamie joins the team with research experience from the Social Science Research Center and NSPARC at Mississippi State University (MSU), where she worked on projects related to health, workforce, and transportation. She has spent the last few years as faculty at Louisiana Tech University, teaching research methods and mentoring students on independent research. She pursued her education at MSU, where she received her bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in sociology.
Jamie will work under the center’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Employment of People who are Blind or Have Low Vision grant. She will utilize her broad range of analytical and report skills to support our ongoing research and dissemination activities.
