Sixteen classroom teachers, special educators and teaching assistants who work with students with visual impairments public schools around the state of Mississippi attended an RTC-hosted workshop October 19 & 20 at the T.K. Martin Center on MSU's campus. Instructional sessions taught by RTC Training Coordinator B. J. LeJeune (CRC, CVRT) were supplemented by Vicki Bond (pictured above), an Orientation and Mobility Specialist. Bond taught participants about current trends in O & M instruction for students who are blind or visually impaired and led the group through several activities under blindfold. Other presenters included Trudy Klemm (TVI and Vision Consultant) and Dr. Brenda Cavenaugh (TVI), Director of MSU-RRTC. RRTC staff members Lisa Ashmore and Angela Shelton facilitated the event.
