The Starkville Rotary Club recently invited RRTC-MSU Interim Director Brenda Cavenaugh to speak at their luncheon meeting about past and ongoing research at the Center. She was introduced by MSU's Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Richard Blackbourn.

Dr. Cavenaugh has worked in blindness research at Mississippi State University since 1992. Her career field experiences as Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Rehabilitation Teacher and Assistive Technology Specialist provide a context for the research she directs in her current role at the RRTC. She also serves as a Research Professor at MSU.
