Recent Press on Mentoring Project

The NRTC Employment Mentoring Project was recently featured in various public media outlets including a local newspaper, statewide radio program, and a widely-read internet blog. A press release from University Relations at Mississippi State University, which provided an overview of the project, appeared in the June 29th edition of the Starkville Daily News. This article caught the interest of Mississippi Public Broadcasting, a statewide television and radio station, which conducted an interview with Dr. Jamie O’Mally to discuss the project in greater depth. The show aired on July 13th and an audio file of the program is now available online at http://www.mpbonline.org/blogs/mississippiedition/. The interview with Dr. O’Mally begins eight and a half minutes into the audio file. Earlier in July, the project was also featured in a VisionAware post emphasizing the value of participating in evidence-based research on blindness and low vision.
